First things first though…..I am not an expert. I do however, have my views and opinions, which I am happy to share with you. I invite you to explore the Queen’s Court where I share my journey, experiences, and what I have learned along the way.
As for my background, I have been in corporate America for the majority of my life. Taking a calculated risk, I stepped out of my comfort zone, and left 13 years of position and high salary to start an entry level job. I considered this one of my proudest moments, a testament to my belief in myself. Change can be very difficult, but I look at it as a challenge, and a chance to learn and grow. That change turned out to be one of the best moves I have made. My corporate experience has armed me with knowledge and skills to step out in this phase of my life and live my passion.
I blog because...
I have had the idea for blogging for some time, but I could not decide what I wanted to say or focus on. Then I had an aah haa moment……WHY BOX MYSELF IN?
I did not want to solve the world’s problems, but I thought maybe I could spark or motivate someone to “think different” as Apple’s tagline states. I want to share my thoughts and views, and ask “why” on a whole range of topics that support my values of professionalism, curiosity, and integrity.

As you will see throughout the blog, the passions that make me smile are my family, friends, and being free to be me.
